Lake Travis Girls Win Marvin Dameron

The Lake Travis Girls Golf Team handily won the Marvin Dameron Tournament held at the Cottonwood Golf Club in Waco Texas.  The victory marks the fifth win of the 2015 season for the Lady Cavaliers who are also the defending champions of state 5A high school division.

The field included several of the leading girls teams in the state and is considered to be somewhat of a precursor of the competition to come in the remainder of the high school schedule.  To follow the Lake Travis Golf Team through the remainder of the season, check their website at this link.

Kaitlyn Papp led the team scoring with a two day total of 142, two under par and in doing so captured the individual title by a single shot over Halee Cooper of Montgomery.  Ann Parmerter.  Kennedy Swann of Westlake finished third and Ann Parmerter of Lake Travis finished fourth.
