Reese Ramsey will advance to match play in the U.S. Junior Amateur. He is currently tied for 4th in the 36 hole stroke play portion of the competition. Rain delays postponed completion of this portion of the play until today. Match play will begin as soon as the field has been identified for the match play portion of the tournament. Ramsey will be a senior at Westlake High School and has verbally committed to play college golf at Texas A&M University.
Kristen Gillman – U.S. Women’s Amateur Champion
Kristen Gillman is currently playing her first match in the U.S. Girls Junior Championship. She is the defending U.S. Women’s Amateur Champion and playing high school golf at Lake Travis High School.
