Team Results
Westlake Boys Golf Teams finished 1st and 2nd in the 2011 District 15 Golf Tournament. Over the course of two days at Jimmy Clay the Westlake-Team 1 posted a score of 601 finishing 9 shots ahead of the Westlake-Team 2 with a total of 610. Austin High School finished third with a score of 650.
Playing conditions on day one were difficult, with typical Texas springtime winds estimated to be in the 20-30 mph throughout the round. On day two the winds abatted to 10-15 mph, giving the players better scoring conditions that contributed to some lower scores being posted.
The impressive performance by Westlake Boys Golf Teams marks the fourth consecutive year the Westlake High School Golf program has advanced two complete teams boys teams to the regional playoffs. The Region 2 Tournament Boys Golf Tournament will be held April 21 and 22 at Twin Rivers Golf Club in Waco, TX. Region 2 is considered one of the more competetive regions with respect to golf programs within Texas. Coach Callan Nokes and Coach Grigg indicated they were very pleased with the result of the District tournament and are currently evaluating how to approach the regional playoffs with respect to their team rosters.

Individual results
Brenden Redfern and Charles Neel White finished regulation play tied at one over par for the tournament with a 145 total, posting rounds of 72-73 and 74-71 respectively. The sudden death playoff for the individual title was well played by Redfern and White with Redfern finally prevailed on the third hole of the playoff. The District 15 individual title adds to Redfern's already impressive resume that includes a Firecracker Open title.
Daniel De La Garza finished alone in third with a score of 149. Eli Juren finished 4th, Matthew Perrine finished 5th and Wehman Hopke and Stratton Nolen tied for 6th. Ben Winter finished 8th with Justin Gibson and Garrett Lynch tying for 9th. See the complete field results below.

Westlake Girls Team 1 and Team 2 placed first and second in the district competition. Sierra Sims led the individual scoring with a six under par total of 136, with rounds of 70-66 at Lions Municipal Golf Course.
