Seth Stuart, a Senior at the College of Charleston, won the Hill Country Amateur by shooting 68-73=141. Stuart's three under par total was good for a four shot victory over Jeff Snell, who posted 72-73 for a one over par 145. Cody Price, last year's champion finished at 147, good for third place.

Stuart finished his eligibility at the College of Charleston with a respectible season with a stroke average of 73.81. He recorded two top-15 finishes and shot the low round for the team in the fall season as well as the low round for the team all season. John Fellenz won the senior division with 71-71=142, two under par and one shot ahead of Randy Mavropoulis, who put on a strong charge with 66 in the final round to post 77-66=143. Bob Karcher and Fred Franco were one shot behind second place with 145 totals.
