David Studebaker shot 68 on Monday May 16th at Austin Country Club to secure a spot in the sectional U.S. Open qualifier. Four other players made it through local qualifying and two players qualified as alternates.
Studebaker played his college golf at Cameron College in Oklahoma and currently plays the mini-tours. Payne Gniewek plays for Baylor, Robbie Ormand is playing the mini tours, Ryan Murphy is the Assistant Golf Coach at The University of Texas at Austin, and Cody Paladino plays for Baylor.
1st Alternate Cody Gribble plays for UT and is headed to the NCAA Regionals in California and 2nd alternate Conrad Schindler plays for Texas A&M.
