The University of Texas Men's Golf Team dominated Washington in the first round of the match play portion of the NCAA DI National Championship Golf Tournament being played at Riveria Country Club in Pacific Palisades, California and advanced to the semi-finals.
Tony Hakula won his match 3&2, Cody Gribble won 2 up, Dylan Fritelli won 2&1, Jordan Spieth won 4&3, and Julio Vagas won 2&1 to make it a 5-0 victory over Washington. View the results here.
They will face Oregon in the Semifinals on Saturday. Texas is the 3rd seed and Oregon is the 7th seed in the match play portion of the tournament. Follow the match at this link.
