Stratton Nolen and Daniel De La Garza have been chosen to represent Texas in this year’s Mexican Amateur, which will be played June 7-10 at the Guadalajara Country Club in Mexico. The duo will play 54 holes of team stroke play. This championship will consist of 144 of the top players in both Mexico and the United States. Nolen, who just recently won the UIL 5A State Championship also won the 2011 Texas State Junior Championship. De La Garza finished tied for 18th at last year’s Texas Cup Invitational as well as third in the AJGA’s Bob Estes Junior Invitational and the Lubbock Junior. See more at this link.
