Benjamin Arnett of Houston Texas finished his third and final round of the Byron Nelson Junior Championship with an eagle on 17 and a birdie on 18 to surge past second round leader Stratton Nolen and capture the title. Arnett's final round 6 under par 65 was the low round of the tournament and good for the win. The championship is part of the Texas Legends Junior Tour, hosted by the Texas Golf Assosiation. 
Nolen, who had a two shot lead headed into the final round was played steadily throughout the round and was in the lead until a double bogey on the 14th hole put him one shot behind the leader. Despite the setback Nolen was still in position to win. However, the strong finish by Arnett closed the door and provided a three shot victory. There was not much Nolen could do in that situation. Congratulations to Stratton Nolen on a fine performance and representing Austin Junior Golf in such fine fashion.
