Seth Stuart of Austin advanced to the first stage of the PGA tour qualifying school yesterday. Stuart, competing in the 54 hole pre-qualifier at the Golf Club of Dallas, posted a three round total of two under par to finish 13th. The top 38 from the Dallas pre-qualifer advance to the first stage of the PGA qualifying school.
Stuart recently finished fourth in the Austin Men's City Championship and completed his collegiate golfing career at the College of Charleston, where he played for Coach Mark McIntire.
