Doug Manor shot a second round 67 to move into a tie for second place in the Texas Golf Association Mid-Amateur Championship. Manor leads the Austin contingent of players in the Mid-Am. Manor, an unknown amoung Austin golf circles, posted six birdies and a bogey in route to this 67. Manor is enrolled in the McCombs Business School. See his facebook profile here.
Joe Bendetti combined a 75 with his first round 70 to wind up tied for 23rd. Steve Patterson and Drew bell are tied for 33rd. Kody King and Robert Evans are tied for 52. The field was cut to the low 54 and ties after the second round.
