On Saturday May 18, during the first round of the Austin Country Club Member/Member Tournament, Bill Netherton aced the par three second hole. He felt good about his chances of winning the closest to the hole contest for that hole and optomistic that the ace would win a skin for the day.
Sorry Bill, but Jim Thomas also aced the second hole later that day and that cancelled out the skin and halved the prize for the closest to the pin contest.
I wonder what the odds are of that happening?
