Perrine And Papp Shine At AJGA Ping Invitational

Matthew Perrine and Kaitlyn Papp of Austin finished third and fourth in the 2013 AJGA Ping Invational, held at Karsten Creek in Stillwater, Oklahoma.  The invitational tournament featured the top players in the AJGA points rankings.

Perrrine shot the low round of the tournament with a 69 and was presented with a Presidents Cup hole flag by Hunter Mahan in recognition of the accomplishment.  Perrine is in his senior year at Westlake High School and has committed to play collegiate golf at Auburn.

Papp lead the girls division for most of the tournament but encountered difficulty in the final round when rain disrupted play.   New to Austin, Papp is scheduled to play for Lake Travis High School in the Spring semester.
