The Vandegrift boys golf team won it’s second consecutive state golf championship by winning the 2015 5-A state golf tournament, following up a 2014 win of the 4-A state golf championship. The Vandegrift girls finished in third place in the 5-A championship. Erin Fahey was the low scorer for the girls team and finished in fourth place in the overall individual standings. See the team and individual scores at this link.
Lake Travis Girls 2015 6-A State Champs
The Lake Travis girls golf team won the 6-A state championship by eight shots. Kaitlyn Papp lead the team and finished in second place individually one shot ahead of Kristen Gillman, who finished in third place. See the team and individual scores at this link.
The Westlake boys team finished 2nd in the 6-A golf championship, seven shots behind the winning Southlake Carrol team. Reese Ramsey and Reid Davenport of Westlake finished T-4 individually. It was a fine season for the Westlake boys team. See the team and individual scores at this link.
