Matthew Vela and Cole Moreland have made it throught the first state of the PGA Q-school. Vela posted -6 and Cole Moreland posted -5 over the 72 hole qualification at Lantana Golf Club in Lantana Texas. Vela finished T9 and Moreland finished T15. The top 18 players advance to stage two.
