A strong field of Austin and San Antonio golfers will tee it up at the Horseshoe Bay Invitational on Saturday and Sunday. The two day individual medal play tournament will be played over the Ram Rock and Slick Rock courses. This year, Ram Rock will be first up in the roation and players will face a stearn challenge from the beginning tee shot to the end of the round.
The defending champion Manny Bhakta is in the field again this year along with two time winner Nicholas Cristi, who now lives in Houston. Most of the Austin amateur golfers that have dominated golf in Austin over the past several years will be present including Kody King, Steve Paterson and Robert Evans. Missing will be Brian Noonan, current Austin Men's City Champion and 3rd place finisher in last year's Horseshoe Bay Invitational.
