Austin Team Announced For Rudy’s I-35 Cup

Captain Randy Reynolds and Assistant Captain Steve Hammond have announced the players that made the team representing Austin in the Rudy's I-35 Cup.  The I-35 cup is a Ryder Cup style competition between Austin and San Antonio that features 14 players from each city playing foursomes, fourball and singles matches to determine who wins the cup.
The competition will be held at Oak Hills Country Club in San Antonio on November 1-3. 
 
On November 1st, the Rivalary Before The Matches is held to raise funds for The First Tee of San Antonio and African New Life of Austin.  The Rivalary Before the Matches is a scramble format featuring teams sponsored by businesses and individuals from Austin and San Antonio that participate in the fund raising aspect of the Rudy's I-35 cup.  In the past four years, over $200,000 has been raised and contributed to various Austin and San Antonio charities.  For more information about how to participate in the Rivalary Before The Matches, click here.
 
The Austin I-35 Cup team is determined by the Austin Amateur Golf rankings and includes the nine highest ranking mid-amateurs, the three highest senior players and two captains picks.  The following players will represent Austin in 2013.
