The NCAA Division II Super Region 4 Golf Championship commences today, May 5th at Walnut Creek in Mansfield Texas. The St. Edwards Women’s Golf Team will be participating and trying to qualify to play in the national championship tournament.
The St. Ed’s Women, led by coach Jennifer McNeil, have had an impressive season thus far, winning several tournaments and capturing some individual titles along the way. They recently captured the Heartland Conference championship in route to the NCAA D2 Super Regional Tournament. Click here to see a recap of their season on the St. Ed’s Website.
Austin’s Taylor Moreno and Haley Haught, who played golf for Westlake High School, are members of the St. Ed’s team and have made substantial contributions to the the team’s success this year.
Haught, shown here at the left, has led the team scoring in several tournament this year and posted a school record low round of 64. She recently captured the individual title and led the team to the conference championship.
Moreno, shown here at the right, has been a steady contributor to the team’s success and has been playing well recently. 
She shot 74-74 in the conference championship and finished 5th individually.
