Cooper Dossey, Kristen Gillman, Matthew Perrine and Kaitlyn Papp, all from Austin, participated in the AJGA Thunderbird Inviational Golf Tournament at the Raptor Course of Grayhawk Golf Club in Scottsdale, Arizona.
The Thunderbird Invitational is one of the most prestigious events hosted by the AJGA and players must qualify for the event. Only 40 boys and 30 girls were invited. The field included players from all over the world that had competed in US AJGA events.
Kristen Gillman finished third in the girls division, missing a playoff for first place by one shot. Cooper Dossey finished eight in the boys division with a six under par total of 210.
