Lester Lundell, an Austin golfing icon who underwent a liver transplant on December 31, 2014, is recovering nicely. He is up and around and even doing some minimal putting and chipping. Doctors indicate his recovery rate is one of the fasted they have seen.
During a conversation with Lester this past weekend, he indicated he was finally beginning to feel better and it was obvious that he was beginning to regain some of chatter and good humor that has always been part of his charm.
