Cooper Dossey
Vandergrift High School standout Cooper Dossey and former Westlake State High School individual golf champion Matthew Perrine posted three under par 68 in the first round of the Texas Amateur and are three shots off the lead.
Perrine has transferred to Baylor University from Auburn University and will play college golf at Baylor.

Steve Paterson shot one under par 70 and is tied for tenth place.
Stratton Nolen posted even par and is tied for 14th. The former Westlake standout now plays for Oklahoma State and is home to Austin for the summer. He is registered to play in the 2015 Firecracker Open.
