Brandon Rougeau shot 67 at Lions Municipal in the second round to move into second place.  Rougeau is from Cedar Park and plays for Tyler Junior College.  He recently finished fourth in the National Junior College Championship so he has been playing well.

Two time Men’s City Champion Michael Cooper moved into a tie for third with a three under par 68 at Lions Municipal, giving him a two day total of four under par.  He is tied with Steve Paterson and Jack Cersosimo.  This group of players all have experience at winning are are poised to move forward should Reynolds stumble in the next two days of play.

Both Lions Municipal golf course and Roy Kizer Golf Course were in excellent condition.  The greens keeping staff at both courses are to be congratulated on the condition of the courses.

Thanks to Kevin Gomillion, Steve Hammond, Jimmy Olivares, Erik Lopez and all the staff and volunteers at the city courses.  The folks helping with live scoring and the guys spotting on the course helped speed play and make the tournament run smoothly so far.
