The Lake Travis Girls Golf Team fired a second round team total of 316 and a two day total of 639 to win the Region II-5A Regional Golf Tournament by 10 strokes. The Westlake Girls finished in a tie for second with Allen and then won second place in a playoff. Both teams will advance to the state tournament in Austin.
Maddie Szeryk of Allen claimed individual honors with a two day total of 147, Sierra Sims of Westlake was second with 149 and Kristen Gillman of Lake Travis won third with a tottal of 152.
