The Vandergrift Girls Golf Team posted a two day total of 665 in difficult conditions at The Golf Club of Texas at Briggs Ranch in San Antonio to claim the Region IV-4A Golf Championship by one shot over Cedar Park. Both Austin Area Teams will advance to the state playoffs.
Lindsey McCurdy of Buda won the individual title by seven shots with an even par total of 144. Dana Clary of Cedar Park finished third with a 154 total. Chandler Thomas of Vandegrift was 7th with 160.
