Lester Lundell underwent a liver transplant about two weeks ago and is reported to be recovering very well. Cary Petri has reported that Lundell returned home after a few days in the hospital and has since been back for his first check-up. So, for the time being, it appears that all is progressing nicely.
Lundell, who had been on the transplant list for a while, had commented that he was ready but did not know if or when it would occur. It was a nice New Year’s surprise.
